The Tropical Dance Orchestra, Queensland's prestige latin and swing ensemble, features some of the finest young local talent and experienced jazz performers. Be entranced by the elegant and luxurious sounds of the five-piece string section and groove to the dynamic and captivating rhythms of this unique thirteen-piece band playing some of the greatest jazz swing classics and the best of Brazil's exhilarating music.
Well, I don't know if they are as good as the ad above describes, but I will go to the February 10th concert at the Main Auditorium, City Hall at 12:30pm . Doors open at noon and it's FREE!
This is part of the City Entertainment Program provided by the Brisbane City Council. I will definitely go to the Army Band Concert on March 3rd.
