The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival is back and here is the edited welcome message from Lindsay Bennett, Festival Director.
"Well, the Fashion Festival is drawing closer and closer! It’s getting quite hectic behind the scenes, with much work to be done before we open on Saturday 20 August.
Over the past few weeks, 300 models have been booked, fitting sessions scheduled, event running orders updated and plans for the construction of the massive, purpose-built marquee and runway are being finalised. We have been busy liaising with designers and retailers, recruiting our legion of volunteers and putting together the final elements to make this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane our most fabulous event yet.
We are expecting more than 20,000 fashion-savvy consumers to descend on Brisbane during the Festival week."
