The Big City Barbecue is a lunchtime festival event focussed on bringing community together for charity. With the support of the corporate CBD the Brisbane Big City Barbecue has raised almost $400,000 for charity since 2006.
This year’s beneficiaries are:
Lord Mayor's Community Trust - supporting Brisbane’s homeless and youth in need.
DRUG ARM Australasia - relieving the suffering and trauma of alcohol and drug abuse.
Foodbank Queensland - Brisbane Division - feeding those in need by redistributing surplus food.
